Information For ClownsKnown as a variety arts scholar, clown historian, and popular instructor, Bruce Johnson is the official World Clown Association Historian, and writes a column for the WCA magazine titled Clowning Around. He was a senior columnist for the Laugh-Makers Variety Arts Journal, and written for many other publications. (He has had over 1,000 articles published.) He is also the author of Comedy Techniques For Entertainers and the Creativity For Entertainers trilogy. He has taught at international clown conferences and festivals in England, Japan, Malaysia, Scotland, Singapore, and Sweden. His honors include University of Wisconsin Clown CampŠ Red Nose Philosopher. He has been chosen by California Clown Campin' to be the featured clown at their 2012 educational program.
